A disease caused by infection with certain bacteria, viruses or other microorganisms that can be passed from one person to another through blood, semen, vaginal fluids or other body fluids, during oral or genital sex with an infected partner

Symptoms –

• Sores or bumps on the genitals
• Painful or burning urination
• Discharge from the penis
• Odorous vaginal discharge
• Pain during sex
• Abdominal pain
• Fever
• Rash over trunk, hands or feet

• Having unprotected sex
• Multiple sexual partners
• History of STDs
• Being forced to engage in sexual activities
• Misuse of alcohol
• Injecting drugs
• Being young
