METHODOLOGY – enzyme multiplied immunoassay technique

TURN AROUND TIME – 1-5 days

SPECIMEN REQUIERED –

COLLECT – random urine

SPECIMEN PREPARATION – transfer 4 ml urine with no additives to transport tube

STORAGE/TRANSPORT TEMPERATURE – refrigerated

STABILITY – ambient: 1 week; refrigerated: 1 week; frozen: 3 months

UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION – repeated freezed specimens

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS – clinical history is maintained
